On 19th November 1984, Antigua & Barbuda Postal Department has issued set of 2 commemorative postage stamps to commemorate the Father of our Nation. The 1 East Caribbean Dollar stamp featuring portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and train scene with inscription ‘Gandhi leaving London 1931’. The second stamp of value 60 East Caribbean Cent depicts the Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi with country name above and Face Value '60 cent' and Inscription 'Mahatma Gandhi 1869-1948' printed at bottom of the stamp.
