Undoubtedly Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother is one of the most popular Royal figures of the twentieth century. Born on 4 August 1900, Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon was destined to become one of the most influential women of the century. 

Throughout her roles as Duchess of York, Queen Consort to George VI and later as the Queen Mother she has endeared herself to the nation, and indeed across the world, by tirelessly fulfilling numerous public engagements with great charm and grace...

The Banknote PNC combines a £5 coin, stamp and banknote. The Centenary Crown features Ian Rank- Broadley's superb portrait of the Queen Mother and is struck by the Royal Mint. 

The high value definitive stamp, part of the Castle Series depicts Windsor Castle and was first issued in the Autumn of 1990. Appropriately it was designed by HRH The Duke of York, the Queen Mother's grandson. 

The £5 note is of the current series in issue and shows the Cypher QM10 0 and a serial number between 000001 and 010000. The Bank of England have issued this special cypher to celebrate the Queen Mother's centenary year. 

QM10 0 will not be produced for general circulation.

The reverse of the coin features a portrait of the Queen Mother while the obverse beats a superb likeness of Her Majesty the Queen.
