Isle of Man - “ SAINT PATRICK ~ YEAR OF THE SNAKE.”

Souvenir commemorative folder / pack with stamps, miniature sheets and medallion !

An official souvenir folder is on offer, issued by the Isle of Man Post Office to mark the Chinese Year of the Snake.

The folder contains five stamps, a sheetlet of 10 stamps, a miniature sheet and a medallion; the stamps and sheetlets are held in transparent, hingeless mounts and the medallion is in a plastic capsule.

• the five individual stamps feature various insects: a bumble bee, ladybird, grasshopper, robber fly and hank moth
• the sheetlet depicts Lesser Mottled Grasshopper stamps,
• the miniature sheet depicts St Patrick and a snake,
• the medallion carries Chinese characters (蛇年) stating "Year of the Snake"

The sheetlet is complete; the stamps and miniature sheet have their original gum and are offered in mint condition; the medallion remains sealed in its capsule and is offered in uncirculated condition.
