Medal - German Unification and Liberty Commemorative Medallion Display Stand (70 mm)
This side of the medallion prominently features a classical allegorical figure, possibly representing "Libertas" or "Freiheit" (Liberty), with flowing drapery and holding what appears to be a staff or scepter. Behind this figure, the distinct black, red, and gold stripes of the German flag are clearly visible. The word "LIBERTAS" is inscribed at the top of the medallion's inner rim, and "FREIHEIT" (German for Liberty) is inscribed at the bottom.
The reverse side of the medallion features a powerful depiction of the German eagle (Bundesadler), a national symbol, with its wings spread wide. Above the eagle, the word "DEUTSCHLAND" is clearly inscribed.
